Missed Connection is a romantic sketch comedy series about the perils of dating. It follows Jamie, a Brooklyn twentysomething navigating a series of bad dates, the boy next door, finances, rejection, and a comfort food crunch. It is written by Freddi Scheib, who also plays the lead character. Eight short episodes have been released on YouTube, making up the first season.

Some tropes:

  • Silence Is Golden: The first episode begins with a wordless subway scene; the season finale also begins with a long silent scene. As the protagonists Almost Kiss, one of them thoughtlessly starts babbling.
