  • Cliche Storm: The comic tends to invoke common anime clichés wherever possible.
  • Complete Monster: Rather unsurprisingly, the Death Note arc's Kira, who decides to use the lockdown to test out the notebook's limits, and immediately began setting up the Shinigami Eyes holder to take the fall.
  • Lost in Medias Res: The audience is given no time to get to know the characters before everything starts. The author has admitted it being a poor decision and is a result of the comic not starting as anything serious, and wanting to draw something exciting before getting bored (Obviously, he never did). This will apparently be fixed in Duo.
