A 2007 movie, direted by Lee Tamahori and starring Nicolas Cage, Julianne Moore, Jessica Biel, Thomas Kretschmann, Tory Kittles, and Peter Falk.
Cris Johnson (Cage) is a human with the power of precognition, but he normally can only see two minutes into his own future. "Normally" because he has a recurrent vision about meeting a woman in a certain place in a certain hour of the day, but he don't knows what day is the one.
One day, while using his powers to win money through gambling, however, his supernatural abilities are discovered by an FBI agent that wants to use his powers to prevent a terrorist attack. Cris however thinks his abilities are useless against something like this, and escapes after having a vision of the conversation that he had to yet to have with the FBI agent.
But his recurrent vision is an obsession that will make him neglect his own security....

- All Just a Dream: The second half of the movie is a vision of Cris.
- Loser Gets the Girl: Of everything that Cris tries to attract Liz, the only thing it seems to work is being punched by her ex-boyfriend.
- Kill'Em All: The movie seems to end with everyone being killed by the nuke but then it is revealed everything since the first half of the movie was a vision of Cris. And then the movie ends just after.
- Screw Destiny: Cris is perfectly able to manipulate the future of his visions. In fact, it seems like he can see things again and again until he sees the best possibility for him and act in a way that will make this possibility happen.
- The Needs of the Many: Ferris' justification for what she does despite the fact that the chances that using Cris will work are very slim.
