Fridge Brilliance

  • I thought it was funny and moved on. But then I saw a colored version online and realized something: it's even better without the color. Compare that to how it would appear in a newspaper, [1] in it you can't tell where the desert ends, where the ocean begins or where the snow fits in. It is a visual that can only be achieved in a black and white drawing because either color or the visible texture of the water, snow, and sand would ruin the effect. With no possible way to see it like this unless it is in a drawing with no color, it means that if they were seeing it like this too, then the hallucination is not just the other two guys, but the fact that they are in a drawing in the first place. That would really be "the mother of all hallucinations." -- youngcosette
