Designated Hero: Devlin. He really is a rather assy hero. He manipulates Alicia's love for him to encourage her to take the mission, and then judges her morals when she takes the job on. He fairly spits disdain at her at certain points in the film, especially when he learns she has successfully seduced Alex. In one of the latter scenes, when she is noticeably ill, he ascribes her manner to drunkeness. Finally, his action at the very last is stupid and petty. If he had taken Alex in the car, he could have got goodness knows how much valuable information from him and maybe even convinced the nazis that they could continue safely in their business - spying on them all the while. Instead, he leaves him behind out of spite.
