• Crowning Music of Awesome: Pretty much the main thing Outrun is remembered for. To the point many subsequent sequels have kept it, and a couple of tracks even featured in the soundtrack of Bayonetta.
  • Some notable songs are: all three tracks from the original game (Magical Sound Shower, Passing Breeze and Splash Wave), Turbo Outrun's intro and Victorious from Outrun 2019.
• Sequelitis: For a while when Sega didn't know what to do with the sequels, then averted with Outrun 2006.
