Memetic Mutation: A great deal of My Little Pony memes originated there. There are also local memes, obviously.

They Changed It, Now It Sucks: Whenever there's any change, such as splitting /oat/ and /pony/, and later moving random non-pony topics from /oat/ to /chat/ (which had previously been a fairly serious board). The users eventually get used to it though.
