A series of30-minute animated TV specialsspecial based on the [[Puff the Magic Dragon (song)|famous song]] recorded by [[Peter, Paul and Mary]], that recastrecasts the eponymous dragon as a sort of fantastical child psychologist coming to the aid of some deeply troubled children.
 
It first aired on October 30, 1978.
