The story is set during the beginnings of the Qin Dynasty, and follows the adventures of a young boy named Jing Tianming and his protector, the master swordsman Ge Nie. In keeping with the spirit of classic Chinese epics, the series is also extremely long. Qin's Moon has drawn connections to popular Japanese animation such as Naruto, as well as wuxia films such as Hero and the House of Flying Daggers. The series has most recently reached its fourth season, but has yet to be licensed or released outside of China. |
