Ragefic, or Ragefiction, is closely related to Revenge Fic, but instead of making the character miserable, the point of Ragefic is to poke fun at them, and often the fandom in general. They usually have very little plot; most of the story is made up of rants, Straw Men, and attempts to convey opinions.
The writer usually creates a very, very shallow plot, during which they attempt to illustrate the validity of their opinion, so as the storyline revolves continuously around the writer's thoughts rather than the characters, in such a way that the Fourth Wall usually remains intact.
They are very rarely taken seriously, even less so than most other Fanfic.
