It depicts the adventures of a teenager named Serenity Harper who, underneath her scrappy and obnoxious exterior, is a girl who only wants to be loved and accepted. After transfering to a new school, she draws the notice of the school's Christian prayer club, who decides to help her find her place whether she wants it or not. The manga chronicles Serenity's ensuing dilemmas as she tries to find peace and meaning in her life through Christianity. |
