• A female expy of Sinistar randomly attacked SDM out of nowhere while the mansion was in space. The fight consisted of SDM running, dodging, and Shooping da Whoop for his life (to the Benny Hill theme Yakety Sax). What makes this even more hilarious is that Agensuto himself was in the middle of attacking the SDM's residents. Poor guy never gets a break....
• In Sweetheart Cafe/Mansion, during a fight against a certain dragon, Shadow (the player, not the character) makes a typo in saying "ass the Dragon" instead of "as the Dragon". Almost as soon as Kanako (the player) sees it, he makes a spoiler saying in all caps "LOOK AT DAT ASS, LAIA!" Suffice to say, he got heckled about it for a couple weeks afterwards. It's still an In-Joke among Shifting Worlds players.
• An unfortunate (or fortunate, depending how you look at it) typo turned "bomb defusing" into "boob defusing" eventually led to the creation of Jim, the Beast of a Thousand Boobs, which has since then become something of an unofficial mascot for Shifting Worlds.
• In Hellgate 2 Part 3, Kizeki opened up a portal in an attempt to chase The General, only to find that it contained nothingness. Arachnos, quick to rescue Flandre and the others, grabs Aurion and speeds through the portal. When Aurion reprimands Arachnos' hastiness, Arachnos' reply was, "Meh, it's not like it's my fault. BLAME KIZEKI!"
• Arachnos' reaction when the Nihilus Death Mage comes back from the grave at the command of the Copy Mage: "Arachnadammit you! Do you really have to be annoying FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE?!"
• Hellgate 2 Part 3: the heroes are once again fighting the Black Spawn, which has escaped from its predicament last time. What begins as a Hopeless Boss Fight turns into a legitimate one after the secret rebel weapon, the Saishubi-No-Requiem, obliterates its god armor. The heroes fight for their lives and slowly overwhelm the beast once more, but the situation turns grim again as the Spawn prepares to unleash its full power. Cue dramatic music... which suddenly anticlimatically ends with a record scratch. As it turns out, the Spawn has not yet recovered enough from the previous crushing defeat to use its powers to the fullest. Cue epic beatdown. Again.
• this site. Just...this site. If you have ANY inkling of who and what Hellgate really is, there is NO WAY you can possibly look at this site and keep a straight face.
• Desmond, the Webbed Warrior! (SDM hears about the hatred Desmond has for Cirno and theorizes that he must be a frog. Hilarity ensues.)
• Arachna and Arachnos work part-time on a train to nowhere. (Arguably doubles as Nightmare Retardant for the item in question.)
