Spark is Electro/Energy
Self-explanatory. When the asteroid hit the Slizer planet, it mutated (hence the "Mutants" sub-title for the line) an Energy Slizer into the humanoid form we know as Spark. He has the same colors, so why not? This theory has become quite popular among the line's few story-savvy fans.
