* In the [[Dr. Seuss]] short ''[[Halloween Is Grinch Night]]'', main character Ukariah tries to stop the Grinch from tormenting Whoville with his strange device, the Paraphernalia Wagon. Although the Grinch regards him as not a threat, he eventually decides to test the [[Mind Rape|abilities of the Wagon on Ukariah.]] He survives, miraculously.
