Line 5:
* Complete Monster: Peter. Depraved Bisexual? Check? Repeatedly rapes his daughter and possibly his other illegitimate children? Check. He's also perpetually high on drugs (hence his cheery demeanor) and is shown/implied to be stalking Niels. He's basically, to quote the author, "A hippie gone very, very wrong."
* Crosses the Line Twice: The entire Jungle Fever plot. Duncan's much-hated cousin holds an 'African Pride' party. Niels shows up as a stereotypical white British Colonialist and acts ridiculously patronizing at everyone. Agent 300 does the same thing. Hilarity Ensues.
* Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Just as people forget that Niels is the bad guy, so too do they forget that Agent 300 is still a secret agent. When Niels hits his Berserk Button, he is ever so happy to remind us.
* Die for Our Ship: Parodied with Natalie in Yaoi and Yuri, where Yaoi Rule 3 says that she can't be in the comic since she isn't a blood relation, a faghag, or a bitch trying to break up Niels and Duncan. And then told that Yuri Rule 16 disqualifies her because she's black.
* Draco in Leather Pants: Since most of the comics delve into the wacky and adorable personal life of Duncan, Niels, and Natalie, it is pretty much impossible to keep fans from forgetting that they are the villains in the story. Every so often we're reminded hard, and as we're sitting there being HSQ'd, the artists' comments section will say something like "what, did you forget he was a bad guy?"
Line 11:
* Harsher in Hindsight: Humon posted a silly music video on youtube, wherein one character sings in opera tones, "I'm not your boyfriend," in the general direction of Neils. It gets painfull when one realizes that the singing man spurned Neils' love at one time, so Neils killed him.
* Jerkass Woobie: Duncan in the 'Perfect Fit' storyline. He was rather pushy about trying to get Natalie to turn bisexual (unsuccessfully). We find out it's out of a misguided hope that if his wife turns bi, Duncan can feel less insecure about his own bisexuality.
* Moral Event Horizon: Humon just loves to remind us in the most spectacular ways that we're not supposed to think Niels is a good person. Case in point.
* Tear Jerker: The events leading up to 250 and Irene's divorce.
* The Woobie: Duncan, Peter's daughter, Agent 250, Thomas.
