Some time after ''[[Saints Row 2]]'', the Saints have become celebrities. A bank heist goes wrong when the target turns out to be run by [[The Syndicate]], a triumvirate of gangs based out of the city of Steelport, and whose leader Phillipe Loren "invites" the Saints for talks afterwards. What happens next has the Boss bent on seizing Steelport as payback.
