* [[Failure Hero]] - GUYS subverts the usual human defense team and the whole series makes it a plot point that the Ultra's are protecting humanity until ''they can fight together as equals''.

* [[Fallen Hero]] - For once, it's Zetton. Unlike previous series, this time it's one of candidate new capsule monsters to assist GUYS team. Unfortunately, its case got droped on floor and malfunction, turn Zetton to evil once more.

* [[Sacrificial Lamb]] - The first GUYS team is killed off in the first episode, save for one. The GUYS team for the rest of the series is formed in the next episode. Later, during the Grand Finale, {{spoiler|Ryu and Mirai bite the bullet, They get better.}}

* [[Sorting Algorithm of Evil]] - Used straight and subverted whenever the Elite Mook Imperizers show up.

* [[Super Prototype]] - Any GUYS machine equipped with METEOR technology.

** The first Imperizer has regenerate ability and can reform its arm as a large blade. But since mass production Imperizer keep the teleportation ability, they number made up for that.

* [[True Companions]] - GUYS crew, but especially important to the Ultramen as a whole who consider all of the people of earth part of their [[True Companions]].

* [[Villainous Breakdown]] - The Reflectian appears to be honorable alien at first. It's well mannered in its speech, always using honorific, and even spares Mebius after their first battle, claiming that he's too weak. After Mebius manage to [[Not So Invincible After All|damage its shield]], it quick to use the GUYS crew as hostages.
