* [[WTH Casting Agency]]: Many fans were quite surprised when [[Dan Aykroyd]] was cast as the voice of Yogi Bear for the upcoming movie, and even more were outraged when [[Justin Timberlake]] was cast as Boo-Boo Bear. ** Timberlake imitated cartoon character voices as a child as a voice exercise, and Boo-Boo was one of his favorites.
*** One troper was a bit more miffed at the casting of Tom Cavanagh as Ranger Smith. The Ranger in the cartoons was a tough guy who was always yelling at Yogi. Tom Cavanagh portrays him as a [[Reasonable Authority Figure]] who really can't control Yogi. The fact that he manages to give Yogi a [["The Reason You Suck" Speech]] without even raising his voice, and is awesome while doing it, shows that the casting was wrong. Cavanagh's Mr. Ranger was not a terrible character, but he wasn't really what comes to people's minds when they think of Ranger Smith.
