Yet she keeps getting storylines, is the only girl who has been romantically linked to all male leads and is constantly talked about as being a great person with high morals even though she behaves just as badly as Blair, Jenny and Serena. On the other hand, she is the only main character who is missing from several episodes each season and while she gets storylines most of them directly involve one or more other main characters rather than Vanessa and guest stars.
