In fact it may very well be the intention of the show's creators/writers that you do.
* [[Too Good to Last]]: Despite being a ratings powerhouse during its initial run, beating out several of Adult Swim's most popular shows on simultaneous premiere nights (namely ''[[The Venture Bros]]'' and ''[[Metalocalypse]]''), Seth Green dropped several hints in interviews that he would be ceasing work on the show to focus on his self-admitted [[Cash Cow Franchise]], ''[[Robot Chicken]]'', before outright spelling out the show's cancellation in August 2011. Needless to say, the fans were pissed, although the notably low-quality (and appropriately declining ratings) of ''Chicken'''s fifth season is [[Laser-Guided Karma|sweet vindication]] in their eyes.
