''tri-Ace'' is a video game development studio. Originally a spin-off from Wolf Team (which was responsible for ''[[Tales of Phantasia]]''), they are now best known for the ''[[Star Ocean]]'' and ''[[Valkyrie Profile]]'' series. [[Motoi Sakuraba]] is almost always the music composer for their works, and almost all of their games (which mostly consist of [[Action RPG|Action RPGs]]) have been published by [[Square Enix]] (Enix pre-merger).
