  • Ass Pull: The entire central plot point of dragonflies being handed as guardians to young dragons and the dragons, in Ripto's words, "being nothing without them", was never at any point mentioned or alluded to in any previous Spyro game. In fact, we saw Spyro's first meeting with Sparx in the first game, and it had nothing to do with any kind of tradition.
