Follow the Southern Cross by Eric 'Erico' Lawson

• Pairings: Mike/Mica
• Synopsis: The time: June, 1990. The place: Coralcola Island. After defeating Zoda and saving the Argonian race, what is there left for Michael Jones to do?
• Comments: An interquel between the two games, Follow the Southern Cross leans heavily on its characterization and comes out surprisingly well given the sparse source material, centering on its central love story as Mike grows into his psychic power. Given the dearth of Star Tropics fanfiction, hardly a hidden gem but certainly mildly obscure. Erico's characterization of the lead as a fan of the Zelda series is kind of ironic, and a late comment about sentient robots on the horizon is more so given the writer's other work.
