The series started with a young girl named Louise (nicknamed "Wiske"), who lived with her brother Rikki and their aunt Sidonia. After their first adventure in the land of Chocowakije, Rikki [[Brother Chuck|vanished from the series]], and Wiske was instead joined by the young boy Franciscus Antigoon of Amoras (nicknamed "Suske"), who was adopted into her family.
