  • Non Sequitur Scene:The scene with the Teacher and Student in chapter seven. It comes out of nowhere, and just goes on for a dozen pages. Lampshaded by Tsuda at the end of it.
    • Also the chapter "Swing Kids" totally out of nowhere and said kids are never seen again.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny: "But you don't need to rush so much... You should save it for someone special. After all, you're still in middle school, so..." *THWACK*
    • The above quote was changed to some generic dialog about "being friends" in the official English translation.
