- A tribute video to Captain Lou Albano, the live-action Mario from The Super Mario Bros Super Show!.
- Danny Wells (Luigi) got one that was much more somber.
- Here's the one for Bob Hoskins, who played Mario in the Super Mario Bros. film.
- An entire episode of Mega Man is dedicated to Robin Williams. The plot of the episode itself involves a genie, half of the commercials are related to Aladdin, and "A Friend Like Me" plays over the ending credits.
- Len Carlson, who played General Klump in Donkey Kong Country and Ganon in The Legend of Zelda was given a heartwarming tribute.
- An episode of Sonic Sat AM was dedicated to Satoru Iwata, who had passed away a few days ago. The annotators naturally expressed themselves with their Gallows Humor, but all in good taste.
- A tribute video to Roddy Piper was uploaded, remarkably similar to the tribute to previous WWE celebrity Captain Lou Albano.
- Archie's Weird Mysteries Episode 12 was dedicated to both David Bowie and Motörhead's Lemmy.
- A tribute video to Joe Alaskey, voice of Grandpa Lou Pickles, Plucky Duck, and Daffy Duck, was made in wake of his death to cancer.
- A tribute video to Alan Young, voice of Scrooge McDuck.
- A tribute video to Jack Riley, voice of Stu Pickles. Complete with chocolate pudding.
- A tribute video to Tony Rosato, voice of "Mama" Luigi in the Super Mario World cartoon.
- On one of the Annotation Archive video of Donkey Kong Country Episode 28 has a tribute at the end for writer of the show Erika Strobel who died in March 2017
- A separate video on the Annoverse channel was in memory of Stefan Karl who played Robbie Rotton on LazyTown
- Kidd Video Episode 3 had a very late dedication to Stan Lee
- Another separate video on the Annoverse channel was dedicated in memory of Stephen Hillenburg who was the creator of SpongeBob SquarePants
- A third separate video was dedicated to Aron Tager, who voiced Cranky Kong on Donkey Kong Country and played a few characters on the Goosebumps tv series
- The second re-annotated episode of Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm was dedicated to Luke Perry who voiced Sub-Zero.
