Despite this, it is a deftly-plotted and increasingly tense story of a world unknowingly on the brink of an apocalypse, placed there as the latest act of revenge upon the royal families of [[Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki|Jurai]] and the [[Sailor Moon|Silver Millennium]] by a being of near-godlike power for a "crime" committed against it ten thousand years earlier. Although Biles himself described it as "one of the more deranged stories ever written", it is actually a well-constructed tale that slowly evolves from a mix of comic and serious elements into a tense drama as events come to a head and the literal fate of the Earth is at stake.
