The Finishing Line is a 1977 Public Information Film commissioned by British Transport Films to combat trespass on Britain's Railways. The premise is as follows: A young boy is sitting on a railway bridge remembering a school assembly given by his headmaster telling the pupils that "The railway is not the games field". The film then becomes an Imagine Spot about a sports day held on the line.
