  • The entire fic could be considered one big story of heartwarming from beginning to end, even in the sad parts.
  • Pretty much any scene in which Holmes and Watson are in the same room. There's no Ho Yay - just two tried-and-true friends who obviously have a lot of affection for each other. Pretty adorable.
  • Speaking of adorable... the scene with Mary and Mrs. Hudson in the kitchen. Dr. Watson's wife and Sherlock Holmes's landlady. Talking and smiling about their beloved menfolk.
