- Crowning Moment of Awesome: No matter what your stance is on capital punishment, you will cheer at the Collingwood's brutal slaying of Krug, Weasel, and Sadie.
- Cult Classic
- High Octane Nightmare Fuel: A lot of the movie, especially the brutal middle half.
- Moral Event Horizon: If you had not lost faith in Krug when he rapes and kills Mari, then you will when he convinces his son to kill himself.
- Narm: The original has a fair amount. Hey, it's a low-budget '70s horror flick.
