Basic Trope: A player of a tabletop role-playing game that like to get into combat with his characters
- Straight: Jake's Characters are Combat oriented and he actively searches for fights
- Exaggerated: Jake gets bored when not fighting for 10 seconds and starts a Bar Brawl.
- Justified: Jake's a gamer that comes from playing videogames (especially MMORPG)
- Inverted: Jake's characters are Diplomacy oriented and he evades fights as much as possible
- Subverted: When a fight starts, Jake doesn't go in
- Double Subverted: ... Because he's swapping his dagger for his Cool Sword
- Parodied: Jake's a Leeroy Jenkins that rushes headlong to the slightest sign of combat
- Deconstructed: Due to Jake's eagerness to start unnecessary or dangerous fights, he's rejected
- Reconstructed: ....then the party's gets utterly pwned in fight, until Jake appears.
- Zig-Zagged: Jake gets a humongous amount of combat equipment, but that's just for making his swingable armor-smashing-thingy
- Averted: Jake doesn't actively search for fights
- Enforced: The Setting is of war and the DM is prone to getting the players into hard fights so he expects them to be Real Men
- Lampshaded: "What's so addicting about war that Jake loves so much?"
- Invoked: ???
- Defied: The entire party is full of Diplomatic roleplayers that dislike combat and as such reject Jake
- Exploited: "Oh Crap... a Dragon!, quick! everyone run away and leave it all to Jake!" Jake: YEEAAAAAAAAAAAH!
- Played For Laughs: the party planifies carefully a way to get through an army of monsters, Jake gets bored and rushes in
- Played For Drama: Jake does a Last Stand to let his party to escape
- Conversed: ???
- Discussed: "Are you sure we want him in our party? He's really Happy Trigger" "trust me, are really going to need him in a moment"
