Characters for "The Soul Cage" by Dave B.

The Auric Horizon

Our heroes, ladies and gentlemen! The Auric Horizon are a small but increasingly important and influential cabal in the Durham Consillium. Formed after the death of Chayot and the self-imposed exile of Cognos, the PCs' mentors, they now inhabit a lighthouse on the coast.

Samael

Obrimos. The lone mystagogue of the group. Samael was Awakened inside a church where he was working on the stained glass windows. It then burnt down when exposed to the celestial energies of Samael's watchtower. He apprenticed under Chayot before his murder, and then founded the Auric Horizon with Cobalt and Persephone.

Cobalt

Moros. A Free Councillor lecturer at the university. He's older then his cabalmates, but awakened later and got less in the way of traditional mentoring. He awakened when a test-dive he was on went horribly awry, leading him to sign himself to the Watchtower of the Leaden Coin in Stygia. After a (very) brief spell as an apprentice of Cognos, he founded the Auric Horizon with Samael and Persephone.

Persephone

Acanthus. Free Councillor with a WHOLE heap of connections to her Order. The youngest of the group. Persephone's Awakening was a fraught afair; her boyfriend turned out to be some kind of thief using her as an alibi, which led to the cops beating down her door. She awakened as an Acanthus, fled the police, and apprenticed under Cognos. After his exile, she founded the Auric Horizon with Samael and Cobalt.

Magog

Awesome.

Moros. Free Council with a bit of a history, to say the least. Magog started off as another Free Councillor in the Durham Consillium with the Smoke Eaters, but after a political play on his part went rather wrong, he was exiled from his cabal and (with Cobalt's assistance) joined up with the Auric Horizon. He's also not a PC.

Symmetry

Thrysus. Free Council vet and Cobalt's partner. She recently joined up with the Cabal.
