The Tag: Difference between revisions

A one to five minute mini-act at the end of a show, after the dramatic climax of the episode but before (or even during) the end credits, used to show the effects or aftermath of the episode. It might be humorous (think ''[[Friends]]'' or ''[[Frasier]]''), or move a little bit of [[Story Arc]] plot along in a self-contained episode (think ''[[Farscape]]''). The British spy-series ''[[The Avengers (TV series)|The Avengers]]'' usually ended with a humorous one, often completely unrelated to the main plot.
