• The Cameo: Fellow YouTuber Geoff Marshall, who produces a video series on the least used rail stations in Great Britain, makes a couple brief appearances in Tim's The Least Used Railway Station in France, objecting to the theft of his trademark subject and format. This led eventually to the full-on Crossover of their channels in December 2021.
• Shout-Out:
  • His format started out as an intentional homage to the British travel show Wish You Were Here...?
  • His use of the Giant Foot of Stomping in a couple videos (as well as the more frequent use of Clip Art Animation) is a clear shout-out to Monty Python's Flying Circus.
