Every time I watch a show, I get hooked on one particular character who isn't a main character. He or she only gets about one or two scenes per episode, and I watch while slowly and unconsciously ripping a hole out of the sofa pillow with my teeth, because it seems like only I can see the potential in this person that ISN'T being exploited!

The woman had sparks. Sparks of characters, sparks of ideas. She consistantly fails to live up to the potential; the only one so far that does has been In The Shadow of the Lion, on which she had two coauthors to keep her honest. I have more contempt for that than for lack of sparks, because she's wasted good characters - and now she sockpuppets them to soothe her conscience.
