The Thumby is a handheld game console, and one of the smallest ever manufactured, to the point of being just barely holdable to actually play at a size of 1.2”x0.7”x0.3” which is part of the appeal. Released in 2022, it was developed and manufactured in Akron, Ohio by ''TinyCircuits''. (The Ken Burns involved in the creation of this console is not the [[Ken Burns|documentarian]])

Almost all development for the Thumby is from a vibrant homebrew scene, with a common theme of making [[Tech Demo Game|titles that push the limits of the format]]. The development tools are relatively straightforward, with a browser based editor available, as well as support for a visual programming, MicroPython, or lower level options.

The antithesis of the [[Xbox|HUEG LIKE XBOX]] [[Memetic Mutation|meme]].
