The problem with the 80 column text page is that the wiki really ought to format the text properly anyway. It *usually* formats it correctly, wrapping and combining lines rather than breaking them at 80 characters. However, it fails to properly format the text on the line which contains the *, and only on the line which contains the *.
* text1 text2 text3 text4
gets formatted into
- text1
text2 text3 text4
when it really should look like
- text1 text2 text3 text4.
If the wiki is smart enough to put the text2 text3 text4 all on the same line, it should be smart enough to put the text1 on the same line too.
