Fair enough, it does break the formatting since the quote templates screw up the formatting of the bullet points.
My advice, replace the quote templates with italicized quoted text to fix the breaks and the bullet points as well wherever this crops up.
Unfortunately, due to the differences in MW and PmWiki, this cannot be easily fixed unless we hacked the core files to alter the behavior, or we bot jobbed everything to MW friendly formatting.
I've discussed this Vorticity, and we'll see if we can't come up with something in the meantime.
