Correction, Geth -- fighteer made the copyright grab. In this thread at the TVT forums, you can see the point where Fighteer gets his pretend lawyer hat out of the toybox and decides that just saying you own someone's copyrights makes it so:

I can't do anything about the Getting Known form or the edit form (that's Eddie's territory), but I did add a section to Welcome to TV Tropes, slightly modified from what I posted earlier.
