Look I'll be blunt: This is an incredibly, ''incredibly'' stupid sounding trope name, and it's unwieldly as hell to boot. Like it or not, Straight Gay rolls off the tongue a lot better and flows much better than the current name. There's also the fact that it's an entirely unnecessary name change done exactly because an SJW got their panties in a twist over it. I thought changing things because other people complained was a TV Tropes thing, and that this site wasn't like that? I know it has unfortunate connotations, but that is ''not'' the intention, and a little mention in the trope's description could easily acknowledge that fact. |
