Tropes cannot be copyrighted, but expressions of tropes can be copyrighted. That said, we have a huge backlog of trope candidates at the moment and not enough people to do the work in shepherding them to either the wild world of tropes or the bit-bucket. (I for one prefer to avoid the bit-bucket.) As a troper, I'd prefer to not see any more candidates until we can get at least another dozen or so candidates through the process - after that, we should be good. |
