Be happy that I'm the first mod to see this - I never had an account of TV Tropes, so I don't get upset at questions asking why we aren't like TV Tropes.
If we wanted to be just like TV Tropes, the wikis would never have been forked in the first place. The mods at All The Tropes are moderators, not dictators - we don't force our opinions on others. (And when we discovered one mod was forcing his opinions on others, he lost his mod powers.) The Tropers here haven't expressed any displeasure at having Playing With subpages for less-serious tropes, so we let them stay.
