- Later subverted when it's revealed that Cassie shrank down to microscopic size quickly enough to avoid dying, but still suffered major burns and scars. She was captured and later rescued by a team including Scott Lang and Jonas
- Braniac 5/B5's last moments alive after saving the entire ship from being destroyed. Hell, even his normally more distant DCU counterpart is near tears.
