At the courthouse where the bail hearing was supposed to take place, over ''two hundred women'' showed up armed with knives, stones and [[Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking|chilli powder]] and vented their anger towards the sex offender, who was systematically stabbed, stoned, thrown chilli powder at and even got to the point where one of his alleged victims [[Groin Attack|hacked off his penis]]. Needless to say, Akku died a horrific death at the hands of his victims and those who took matters into their own hands. While some of the women involved in the vigilante murder of Akku were arrested and charged, they were later acquitted both due to public pressure and the circumstances involved; a retired court judge sided with the women, citing the failure of the local justice system to protect ordinary citizens.
