Vitalizing Edit
A contributor makes an edit on a long-dormant entry, and the entry jumps up into the "Recent Changes" page. Suddenly, the entry accrues a number of unrelated edits; a number of contributors had forgotten that it existed, and now that it's back on their radar, they have something to add.
Sometimes the trope is inverted: a mostly useless page is launched and sits on the site unchecked until an edit is made out of the blue, then the page is nominated for deletion.
