Pretty much every military historian in the Nexus agrees that Aral Vorkosigan is the military genius of the age -- which is impressive under any circustances and doubly so considering that Aral's competition for that title includes his own father, the man who quite literally saved his entire world by defeating a Cetagandan invasion with horse cavalry.
