• And the Fandom Rejoiced: They're re-making the anime? To be faithful to the manga? With an entirely new staff except for the voice cast (the only good part of the first one), who will all be back? Suemitsu and the Suemith are doing the ED and background music? It's an OVA, so they can do whatever they want? That sound you hear is the squeeing of the entire (admittedly small) fanbase.
  • Subverted when the OVA's trailer came out, the fandom's reaction of the OVA's Bubbly art style was not pleasant.
• Awesome Anachronistic Apparel: What the hell is a modern (and fanservicey) nurse outfit doing in a small town 200 years in the past? Who cares!? It looks sexy!
• Crazy Awesome: Kotoha. Just...Kotoha.
• Growing the Beard: The first volume or two of the manga are somewhat confusing, but by volumes three and four the plot and characters click into place and just get better and better.
