She's a newer voice actress, only appearing in anime in the past few years or so[when?]. She was first noticed for her role as the popular character Itsuwa of A Certain Magical Index, but her big break has seemed to come with voicing Meiko "Menma" Honma in Ano Hana, though her in her case, she became a star within her first year of debuting, a very special situation. Her type seems to be more soft spoken, nice girls, though due to her being so new, it hasn't been completely pinned down yet. In the 6th Annual Seiyuu Awards, she won the Best New Actress award in 2011. |
