Applause is a 2009 Danish film, starring the Dogme queen Paprika Steen.
Thea Barfoed is a woman who battles alcoholism, divorce, and motherhood. Her ex-husband is not quite convinced that she is ready to be the mother figure in her sons' life, despite her efforts to spend time with them and pick up where she left off.
