- What Could Have Been: Shaun McLaughlin, who wrote Aquaman for a while, wanted to do a four-issue series which would retell the Post-Crisis origin. It would bring back the Silver Age tale of Aquaman being the son of Tom Curry and Atlanna. It would also add that Atlan (Aquaman's father, Post-Crisis) had manipulated them to be together. Captain Storm of The Losers would be revealed to be Tom Curry's black-sheep brother.
- Since Orin is now essentially Arthur Curry again, this is now most likely unofficially canon. We'll see...
- Geoff Johns already put Atlan out of the picture, restoring Tom Curry's role and Aquaman's humanity. We'll now see if Captain Storm still fits in the new larger picture...
